Whil Piavis

Whil Piavis is a Staff Engineer on Red Canary's Integrations team. He has a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering with a focus on alternative energy production. After a stint as an alternative energy researcher in Hawaii, he helped found a safety software startup and has since made his way to Red Canary where he has helped implement the integrations around all major cloud providers. Writing software since he was 12—starting with a very unsuccessful RPG written in Q-Basic—he has always solved complex problems with custom software.
